Daitoo is a list app for everything you keep a list of.
A morning routine. The grocery shopping. What to pack. The to-dos for this month, and the ones for this year. Write a list, fill it with lines, tick them off as you go.
Adding a line takes one line of typing — and Daitoo remembers every phrase you have written before. Start typing and it offers them back, most used first; tap one and the item is written. Every item gets an emoji picked for it automatically, so a list can be read at a glance without you choosing anything. Add a note underneath if a line needs more than a line.
Tap an item to tick it off, and tap it again if you change your mind. Completed ones sink to the bottom. Swipe an item right to edit it, left to delete it, and press and hold to drag it somewhere else — or complete, reset and empty a whole list at once.
Photograph a recipe or a list somebody wrote on paper, and the items write themselves: named the way you would have written them rather than transcribed, in your language whatever language the photo is in. Quantities, weights and the method do not come back at all, and the picture is not kept.
Every list decides for itself how it looks and what happens next. Rows, or a grid of cards. A progress bar, or nothing to count. Your own order, or sorted for you. A routine can put its ticked-off items back after a day, a shopping list can clear itself out, and a packing checklist can stay exactly as it is until the next trip — and a new list does none of it until you say so.
Share a list and you both add, tick off and delete on the same list. Sharing is free, for both of you.
It all works offline. No accounts, no sign-up, nothing to log in to.
FREE, AND DAITOO PRO
Free: writing lists and items, ticking them off, the emoji, the phrases Daitoo remembers, the notes underneath, sharing a list with somebody — and your first five lists.
Daitoo Pro adds three things: what a list is configured to do (its layout, its progress bar, whether it sorts itself, and the windows that reset or clear completed items), reading a photo onto a list, and keeping more than five lists.
Daitoo Pro is a subscription, offered monthly or annually and billed through your Google Play account. The price of each, and any trial the current offer includes, are shown in the app before you buy. You can cancel at any time in Google Play, and a subscription that ends takes nothing away: every list, item and note stays exactly where it is.
