Main Objective of ECCE app is to help in monitoring the nutritional and health status of children between 0-6 years. Reduce the incidence of mortality, morbidity, malnutrition and school dropouts by observing psychological, physical and social development of the child.
Digital Library: The state government has decided to provide a digital library (in addition to traditional training sessions) with all PSE/ECCE videos, audio files and books. These are readily available to the AWT on her mobile device in ECCE Digital Library application. This well-organized content helps AWT for self-training to enhance learning and teaching skills.
Child Development Assessment: A mobile application for Child Assessment is a well-designed and paper free interface, which will remove the need for manual categorisation of children, through automation with the possibility of adding manual notes. Allow assessment of children at various, critical stages and provide reports based on the inputs. To provide “cards/profiles” of the children that can be shared with parents. To guide teachers and parents using key remarks for the child, immediately after the completion of assessments. Parents may also perform assessments on their own child using parent login.
Help and Support: Based on the assessment if it is identified that any particular child needs special treatment, the app is provided with emergency Helpline Numbers of nearby health facilities and District Early Intervention Centres.
Reports: provision to check number of children ready for school in the particular AWC, Developmental Status of all the children associated with AWC, Data Entry Status of Child Development Assessment of the term.
