The clever Dux HP App puts the power to control your Dux EcoSmart heat pump in your hands.

With an easy connection via Bluetooth or WiFi on your smart device, you can choose the operating mode of your Dux EcoSmart heat pump to best suit your hot water needs. There are several operating modes available for selection including Auto, Eco, Boost or Holiday mode.

These different modes provide functionality which can help reduce your running costs, schedule operation times and even Boost the water temperature if required.

When connected to the internet (WiFi) or Bluetooth, you can monitor the Dux EcoSmart heat pumps energy use & operating modes via the Dux HP App.

The App offers several pre-programmed operating modes which can be selected to maximise energy savings or set the heat pump operating mode to suit your individual hot water requirements.

Auto
This is the default mode for the water heater and will heat the tank to 60ºC. In this mode, the heat pump system will be used to heat the water when the ambient temperature is within –6ºC to 45ºC.

Eco
In this mode, only the heat pump system can operate to heat the water. The backup heating element will not operate to heat water and may only be used to prevent freezing of water in the tank.

Boost
In this mode, both the heating element and heat pump system will operate together to heat the water. This mode can be used to maximise the units recovery, reducing heating time.

Holiday
This mode can be used if the water heater is not expected to be used for a long duration.

Scheduling
The water heater can be scheduled to operate only at particular times of the day using the “Weekly programming”. It’s a great option for households on time of use tariffs or when connected to solar PV systems.
