TaskStrider is a native Android client designed to manage your task list effectively. Whether you are a command-line power user or just need a reliable, clean to-do list, TaskStrider gives you control over your productivity.

🔔 Seamless Notifications

Bridge the gap between your desktop and your phone. Add a task with a due date in your terminal, let it sync, and TaskStrider will automatically push a notification to your phone when it's time. You never have to manually check the app to stay on top of deadlines.



🚀 Key Features


• TaskChampion Sync: Designed strictly for the modern ecosystem. We use the official Rust library to sync with the TaskChampion server, ensuring data safety and speed. (Note: Legacy taskd is not supported).

• Local or Sync: Use it as a standalone task manager or connect your sync server. The choice is yours.

• Smart Sorting: Tasks are sorted by urgency, keeping your most important items visible.

• Configurable UI: Manage your settings through a user-friendly interface. While we don't expose a raw .taskrc file, you can configure the app's behavior directly in the settings menu.

• Theming: Includes both Dark and Light modes to match your preference.



💡 Technical Notes for Power Users

TaskStrider implements a native engine rather than wrapping the task binary. Currently, urgency calculations are based on standard defaults; complex custom urgency coefficients (e.g., specific values for specific tags/projects) are not yet supported but are planned for future updates.



Free & Fair

TaskStrider is free to download and use with ads. A simple In-App Purchase is available to permanently remove ads and support development.
