Turn your Android phone or tablet into a portable media server. Mestrio Stream Server receives, relays, publishes, records, monitors, and verifies live streams directly on your device, without requiring a separate server or cloud service.

MULTI-PROTOCOL STREAMING

• Receive and distribute RTSP, RTMP, SRT, WebRTC, HLS, HTTP-FLV, RTP, and GB28181 media.
• Serve encrypted HTTPS, RTSPS, RTMPS, HTTPS-HLS, HTTPS-FLV, and WebRTCS connections.
• Pull remote streams and republish local sources to RTSP, RTMP, SRT, or WebRTC endpoints.
• Create RTP send and receive tasks with automatic or fixed port allocation.
• Configure SRT latency, encryption, connection mode, and automatic reconnection.
• Use WHIP and WHEP for WebRTC publishing and playback.

GB28181 SURVEILLANCE

• Run a SIP platform for compatible cameras, NVRs, and surveillance devices.
• Accept SIP UDP or TCP registration, browse devices and channel catalogs, start live RTP previews, and send PTZ commands.

MEDIA SOURCES AND PLAYBACK

• View streams grouped by source and inspect codecs, tracks, resolution, readers, origin, and traffic.
• Search and filter sources, generate protocol addresses, stop tasks, and control automatic source closing.
• Verify output with the built-in player using RTSP, RTMP, SRT, WebRTC, HLS, HTTP-FLV, or HTTP MP4 when supported by the stream and device.

MEDIA FILES AND VOD

• Import files or folders into the managed media library.
• Play MP4 files directly over HTTP or HTTPS with independent seeking.
• Generate complete HLS VOD packages.
• Publish files as shared live sources across supported protocols.
• Create private RTSP or RTSPS VOD sessions with independent seek, pause, and speed controls.
• Track publication state and stop delivery at any time.

RECORDING AND AUTOMATION

• Record live sources as MP4, FLV, HLS-TS, or fragmented MP4 HLS.
• Configure duration and segment length while recording continues in the background.
• Create one-time, daily, or weekly schedules, wait for offline sources, and review recent runs.
• Protect storage with configurable automatic cleanup policies.

MONITORING

• Monitor active sessions, real-time throughput, accumulated traffic, connection details, and protocol roles.
• Inspect server events, failures, WebRTC rooms, peers, and DataChannel state.
• Receive notifications for server, recording, task, storage, and certificate problems.
• Review monitoring history and export CSV or JSON metrics with Mestrio Pro.

SECURITY AND CONTROL

• Generate a local TLS identity or import your own certificate.
• Configure listener ports and enable only the protocols you need.
• Protect publishing and playback with access tokens.
• Add role-specific tokens, network rules, failed-attempt limits, and local API control with Mestrio Pro.
• Save reusable server profiles and restore workflows.
• Keep the server active in a dedicated background process, with an ongoing Android notification for status and safe shutdown.

FREE CORE AND MESTRIO PRO

Core streaming protocols are included in the free edition. An optional one-time Mestrio Pro purchase unlocks higher task capacity, more simultaneous recordings and file publications, saved workflows, recording schedules, 90-day monitoring history, data export, additional server profiles and TLS identities, storage automation, advanced access rules, and the local control API.

The server operates locally and provides LAN addresses by default. Public internet access requires your own router configuration, VPN, or secure tunnel. Availability may depend on codecs, network conditions, and the hardware decoder capabilities of your Android device.
