This app is used to report on sargassum buildup on beaches. Reports are made in the field so the coordinates are used to place a pin on a map so that others can see if a beach is clean or covered in Sargassum. You may include a photograph of the beach so that researchers can verify and validate your observations.

Be a citizen scientist and help gather data about where and when sargassum appears on the beaches you go to. Make reports every day, week, or however often you want, everything you report helps better understand the problem.
