This is a calculator which can be used to generate normal form, prime form, interval vector, and Forte number metadata for every applicable pitch class set. Included within it is also a comprehensive list of pitch class sets ranging from cardinalities three to nine. Each item in that list includes, among other things, the set class' degree of transpositional and inversional symmetry.


The app is intended for anyone studying post-tonal music theory.
