Snipleaf is a cozy bonsai tree game: grow a seedling season by season, snip the shoots that poke outside a classic silhouette, pinch tips and wire branches until your tree matches the style.
HOW A SEASON PLAYS
• Swipe across a branch to snip it. A clean cut outside the dashed target raises your silhouette match.
• Tap a leaf pad to pinch its tip: no long shoot next spring, a denser pad instead. Careful, pinching the apex slows the tree.
• Drag a branch to wire and bend it. You have 3 coils of wire each season; a bend sets after one season, and wire left on too long marks the bark.
• Turn the tree to see its other side, Undo any mistake.
• Tap Next season and watch it grow: spring shoots, a summer flush, autumn color, winter snow.
A BONSAI SIMULATOR WITH GOALS YOU CAN WIN
Every tree is trained toward one of 9 classic styles: formal upright, informal upright, slanting, cascade and broom from the start, then literati, semi-cascade, windswept and forest as your garden grows older. Reach the goal and earn up to 3 stars per style.
THE SEASONAL BONSAI SHOW
Once a year each tree can enter the show. Three judges score it: Sensei Moku loves balance, Rosa loves movement and Old Bram loves old bark. Beat 7 rival trees, collect coins, and if you like, watch a video to ask a fourth judge; the lowest score is dropped, so it can only help.
TEN YEARS AS A TIME-LAPSE
Every season of every tree is recorded. Replay its whole transformation, from wild seedling to finished bonsai, right in the game.
YOUR BONSAI GARDEN
• Grow up to 6 trees at once, a full bonsai sim with its own seasons.
• 12 species: juniper, Japanese maple and ficus from the start; trident maple, Chinese elm, azalea, dwarf jade and cherry for coins.
