SignShell lets you connect to shared terminal sessions from your Android device with end-to-end encryption and Solana wallet authentication.
Whether you're monitoring a remote server, pair programming, or reviewing a colleague's terminal session SignShell gives you secure, real time access from anywhere.
How it works
A host shares their terminal using the SignShell CLI. You open the app, paste the share link, and you're connected. All terminal data is encrypted before it leaves the host's machine the server only routes encrypted bytes. It cannot read your commands or terminal output.
End-to-End Encryption
SignShell uses AES-128-GCM encryption for all terminal data. Three encryption keys protect every session:
An output key encrypts data from the host to you
An input key encrypts your commands back to the host
A bootstrap key securely exchanges the above two keys
The encryption key is embedded in the share link fragment (#) — a part of the URL that never reaches the server. Your data stays private, even from the server operator.
Keys are automatically rotated after 1,048,576 messages to maintain cryptographic integrity.
Solana Wallet Authentication
Sessions can require cryptographic identity verification using your Solana wallet (Phantom or Solflare). No passwords, no accounts just sign the session terms with your wallet to prove your identity.
Your private key never leaves your wallet app. SignShell only receives your public key and message signature.
No SOL balance or tokens are required. The wallet is used solely for digital signatures.
