Use this app to discover and communicate with Zebra's ZS300 electronic temperature sensors over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) when the sensor is in range (up to 30 meters/100 feet, line of site).
The app connects to the sensor, retrieves data and transfers it to the Zebra Cloud Platform via a required Authenticated Connection, to ensure security and trusted confidence.
This app also features a programmatic "AIDL" Interface, allowing other Authenticated Android apps to retreive and transfer data from the sensor to the cloud platform of choice. Addtional details on the AIDL inteface is available on the ZS300 Environmental Sensor Support page at www.zebra.com/support.
Requirements for the app
- For use on Android v8.1 and above.
- Requires continuous network connectivity, with access via port 80, 443 to scv.zpc.zebra.com and acs.zebra.com for certificate exchange & data transfer to the Zebra Cloud.
- Requires Bluetooth Low Energy v4.1 or later.
