• This app acts as a MDM solution for businesses and it is intended to work ONLY within the SmartCircle network! It cannot be used by end users without a SmartCircle subscription.
• This app can protect the Settings and Google Play store apps, if configured.
• This app accesses external files and deletes all user generated content such as images, videos, contacts, calendar events, wallpaper to prevent malicious or inappropriate content ending up in stores
• You can remotely provision SmartCircle Display configuration by logging into accounts.smartcircle.net
• This app could change the audio settings (volume) on the device and may lock the screen by going on top of other apps
• This app may be used for advertisement purposes to show video or picture content
• This app also uses WiFi, GPS location and CPU while running in the background, and therefore can dramatically decrease battery life. It is highly recommended that devices running this app remain charging at all times
• This app uses the Device Administrator permission to lock the screen, wipe the device and prevent direct uninstall
• This app uses Accessibility services and registers for window changed event type. If activated from the user interface, it will provide spoken feedback informing the user when the foreground application is changed
• This app collects and transmits personal or sensitive user data and account information (including but not limited to phone number, IMEI, user’s account email/s, etc.) as well as installed packages information to various SmartCircle.net related sub-domains. Information is used to track live display usage to ensure in-store demo compliance and to be included in various reports

Explanation of permissions:
• Read phone state and identity - used to detect device ID and for SIM card removal feature
• Approximate location - used for several security features (see above)
• Modify or delete content on the device - used to clear downloaded media, and pictures and videos from the camera
• Disable your lock screen - used to keep device always on
• Connect and disconnect from WiFi, allow WiFi multicast - used to ensure constant connectivity
• Reorder running apps, check size - used to keep device on top if it is in state “idle”
• Display system-level alerts - used to detect global screen touch events
• Allow NFC enrollment - used to detect other SmartCircle enabled devices
• Change audio settings - used with several security features (see above)
• Read accounts - used to determine if an active account was setup on the device
• Use camera - used to capture unauthorized activity on the device
• Read/modify call log - used to clear the call low to refresh the display
