An ICE (IC Engine) or Internal Combustion Engine is heat engine that burns fuel within a combustion or cylinder and generates mechanical power.
The fuel get mixed with air and then the piston compresses the fuel mixed air and create energy to drive the vehicle. The combustion process happens inside , that is why this engine is called internal engine. This is the simplified process, The detail discussion is in the book.

Internal Combustion Engines are mostly used in automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, boats, airplanes, and various other machines where mechanical power is needed. They have different shape and size like inline, V-shaped, flat and radial each comes with its advantages and usages.Depending on size and shape IC engines can run on different fuels like gasoline, diesel, natural gas, or alternative fuels like biofuels
