Bu ilova haqida

During an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, it's not unusual for there to be more jobs than there are people to do them. And that's where the Pulse Check Timer comes in handy. It helps with two roles, those of timer and scribe, which are typically deemphasized in favor of more high-yield interventions.

American Heart Association guidelines recommend pulse checks and heart rhythm checks every 2 minutes. And the best practice in cardiac arrests is to pre-charge the monitor 15 seconds before the pulse check.

When you click the Start Timer button, a countdown to 1 minute and 45 seconds begins. At this time, the app will announce to the crew to charge the monitor. At 2 minutes, it will announce to check for a pulse. It will also give you the option to record the heart rhythm you observed at the pulse check.
The time of the pulse checks and the heart rhythms are recorded in an event log.

After the call, when you have finished using the event log for your documentation, you can delete it.
