WHAT IT DOES
• Cut list optimizer for plywood, MDF, melamine and any sheet material
• 1D mode for linear stock: lumber, trim, pipe, metal bars and tubing
• Imperial fractions (1/16" by default, 1/32" or 1/8" optional) and metric, with decimals in both
• Saw kerf, edge trim, grain direction lock and part rotation
• Edge banding on any of a part's four edges, with parts entered at finished size or cut size
• Mix several sheet sizes, set limited or unlimited stock, and use up your offcuts first
• Choose rip first or crosscut first, and see the total number of cuts
• Yield %, sheets used and waste area for every layout
• Shows when a layout provably uses the fewest possible sheets or bars

BY TRADE
• Woodworking and cabinets: plywood, MDF, melamine and particle board, with grain, edge banding and saw kerf
• Glass: rectangular panes cut from stock glass sheets. Set the kerf to 0 for scored glass and add edge trim for the factory edge
• Acrylic and plastic sheets: acrylic (plexiglass), polycarbonate, PVC foam board and aluminum composite panels, with your saw or laser kerf
• Aluminum and steel profiles: window and door extrusions, square tube, angle and flat bar, from 6 m, 20 ft or any bar length
• Rebar: straight cutting lengths from 20 ft, 40 ft or 12 m bars, with zero kerf for shear cutting, to cut steel waste on site

• Layouts are guillotine (edge-to-edge) cuts, the kind you make on a table saw, track saw or panel saw
• One material and thickness per project. For 1/4" backs on 3/4" cabinet boxes, duplicate the project and switch the sheet
• Rectangular parts and straight cuts only: no miter angles, shaped glass, bending schedules, nesting, CNC or DXF
