The "1-Button Timer" was designed with simplicity in mind. Users set a countdown to the desired minute; no hours or seconds necessary (or even permitted).

One button starts the timer, and that same button stops the timer. It is that easy. Various sounds can be configured (seconds tick, minute bell, completion alarm), or no sounds at all. This ability to choose each sound makes this easy-to-use timer extremely versatile.

As a game timer it is common to set the 1-Button Timer as follows: Minute sound is bell for "last 3 minutes"; Seconds tick is "last 10 seconds"; Completion sound is "alarm."

As a meditation timer it is common to use these settings: Minute sound is bell "every minute"; Seconds tick is off completely; Completion sound is a gentle chime.

As an egg or cooking timer is it common to have: Minute sound "off"; Seconds tick "off"; Completion sound set to "Alarm."
