Translation is a very complex argument. We see that the translation made from one language to another is often just a claim. ಪವಿತ್ರ ಖುರಾನ್ ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಗ್ರಂಥ. ಅವತೀರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸಹಸ್ರ ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದರೂ ಖುರಾನ್ ನ ನಿತ್ಯ ನೂತನತೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಡಕು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅರಬಿ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗತನ್ನೇ ಬೆರಗುಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಸೋಜಿಗ ವಾಗಿ ಖುರಾನ್ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಖುರಾನಿನ ಪದಗಳು, ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳು, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ದೈವಿಕ ವಾದದ್ದು. ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ ಅದರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಕೂಡಾ ಎಡತಾಕದು. ಆದುದರಿಂದಲೇ, ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ಗ್ರಂಥವೊಂದನ್ನು ತರಲು ಖುರಾನ್ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟ ಸವಾಲು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಅಜೇಯವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ.
ಭಾಷಾಂತರ ಎಂಬುದು ಬಹಳ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ವಾದ ವಿಷಯ. ಒಂದು ಭಾಷೆಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವ ತರ್ಜುಮೆ ಬಹಳ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲೂ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಹಕ್ಕು ಮಂಡನೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ಕುರಾನ್ ಅನುವಾದ ಎಂಬುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದು ಚಲಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಲವಾರು ತಥಾ ಕಥಿತ ಅನುವಾದಗಳು ಖುರಾನ್ ಆಗದೆ ಅನುವಾದ ಮಾಡುವವನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಮಾತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಲವಾರು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಖುರಾನಿನ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ಸಾಧ್ಯ.
