Required Hardware: a DR series flying laboratory and our Scentroid Ground Station
This app features Scentroid's Custom software for our drone-based flying laboratory units DR1000 and DR2000. DRIMS2 (Drone Information Management Software) provides the user with a means to control the flying laboratory and log all acquired data. Our system provides both live data as well as all historical data for all sensors plus GPS position, Altitude, Temperature, and humidity.
Through connecting to our ground station via USB, a multi-coloured indicator light will signal the current state of your drone connection, allowing for a quick and easy initialization. Upon initial connection, the app will automatically determine which sensors are present within the drone – no user input required! Should the user require, a built-in diagnostic tool is available to allow for test sampling.
During manual calibration of sensors, the user will be presented options for offset, sensitivity, and air quality limit thresholds. You could easily apply or disable alarms to warn you of any sensor exceeding your predetermined air quality limits. Alarm notifications are well documented and easy to access during and post drone flight.
Our DRIMS2 Software will not only allow you to see flight/project data through our easy to read graph, but all data can be exported into an Excel file as a set of average values per flight/project. Users have the option to view live or historic data on our built-in Google Maps feature. For ease of use, we have implemented various map layouts for your convenience (default dark style, satellite, terrain, and a heat map application). Further to this, map data can be filtered down into hours, days, and even flights.
