SyncTrainer is a dance/sports training app that uses A.I. algorithms to analyse and score how well you perform in a synchronised routine (including DANCE, GYMNASTICS, MARTIAL ARTS, DIVING, SKATING, MILITARY DRILLS, etc). The app rates your routine in terms of (1) group synchronisation, (2) movement difficulty and (3) formation patterns...all expressed in objective metrics. The app is also smart enough to detect which parts of the routine are out of sync and needs improvement.
Through the power of A.I. and data, SyncTrainer allows you to bring a whole new level of objectivity and analytics to dance, sport and physical routines. Suitable for use in competitions, assessments and/or training!
To use SyncTrainer:
1. Press the 'Upload Video' button
2. Select a video from your phone gallery that displays more than two people doing a movement, with a steady camera focus and minimal background distractions.
3. Once you have selected the video, SyncTrainer will generate analytics about the movement in terms of synchronisation, move difficulty and formation patterns.
SyncTrainer relies on machine learning algorithms (i.e. pose estimation) to analyse the input video. All metrics/analytics generated by SyncTrainer are rough estimates only. The accuracy of these analytics is affected by the following factors: (i) the quality of the input video (e.g. lighting, camera angle, fixed v shaky camera, etc); (ii) any distractions or obstacles in the background or foreground of the input video; (iii) the outfits of the individuals in the input video (particularly any distracting colours).
