PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your moments live on your device. Android's cloud backup is explicitly disabled for the database, so your plaintext entries never end up in Google Drive.

OPTIONAL ENCRYPTED BACKUP
Sign in and your notes and photos are sealed with AES-GCM before they ever leave the phone, using a key derived from a passphrase only you know. The servers hold ciphertext and nothing else. Your diary syncs across every device you sign in on.

Halname means "book of feelings" in Persian.
