KnobDroid automatically fixes low hardware volume on Apple USB-C to 3.5 mm adapters and other compatible USB Audio Class 2 (UAC2) DACs on Android.

When a supported USB DAC is connected, KnobDroid detects it, requests USB access if needed, and applies your preferred hardware volume level automatically. This helps solve the common issue where some USB DACs start at a much lower hardware volume on Android than expected.

Features:

Automatically detects supported USB DACs when connected
Applies your preferred hardware volume level
Works with Apple USB-C audio adapters and other compatible UAC2 devices
Simple setup with a lightweight interface
Designed for silent background use after permission is granted
How it works:

Open the app and choose your preferred hardware volume
Grant USB permission
Connect your DAC
KnobDroid applies the configured hardware volume automatically
Requirements:

Android 9 or later
A compatible USB Audio Class 2 DAC
Notes:

Compatibility depends on the USB device’s hardware and UAC2 implementation
This app adjusts device hardware volume, not just Android media volume
