Spider Solitaire is a popular single player card game. The objective of the game is to move all cards to 8 foundation stacks, building up from Ace to King and in suit. The player starts with 10 stacks of cards, with the top card of each stack face up and the rest face down. The player can move cards between stacks, but can only move the top card of each stack. The player can also move multiple cards of the same suit in sequence, as long as they are in descending order. The game is won when all cards have been moved to the foundation stacks.
The rules for the card game Spider Solitaire are as follows:
1. The goal is to move all cards to the foundation stacks, organized by suit and in ascending order (Aces, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s, Jacks, Queens, Kings).
2. Start with five cards face-up in each of the eight columns.
3. The remaining cards are placed in the stock pile (or "talon").
4. Cards can be moved between columns, but only cards of immediately lower value and the same suit can be placed on top of each other.
5. If a column becomes empty, only a card of immediately higher value can be placed in that column.
6. The stock cards can be used one at a time to fill empty columns or complete moves.
7. The game ends when all cards are moved to the foundation stacks.
8. There are two variations of Spider Solitaire, namely Spider Solitaire 1 suit and Spider Solitaire 2 suit, the difference is in the number of color used, 1 suit only uses one color (hearts or spades or diamonds or clubs) and 2 suit uses two colors.
