SnapHappy Pro is the paid version of the SnapHappy app. It has no advertising. What makes it different is that it has two extra modes not found on the standard edition:-
Vintage Mode
This is a Black & White photography mode, a proper camera mode where you can see the finished result live in the viewfinder and not a photo-editor like many other Black & White apps. You can manually lock the focus as well as set exposure, contrast and tint as well as simulate the effect of colour filters over black and whites film.
GhostHunter Mode
This is an experimental ultra low light mode. The camera adjusts to allow photography without flash in very low light conditions.
Great for catching ghosts!
Why do you need another camera app when the phone already has one?
You may not like the built in camera app. They often have too much stuff going on. Too many icons on the screen that makes navigation difficult or twitchy little histograms in the corner, little squares or triangles that randomly appear; does that mean everyone is in focus or everyone is smiling or something else entirely, who knows.
With SnapHappy I try to simplify the process and put the happiness back in, making taking snaps a joy not a chore.
However, the power of control is still there:-
• Tap-focus on the view-finder.
• Long-press the view-finder to lock the exposure.
• Pinch-zoom on the viewfinder.
• Lots of different picture sizes and resolutions to select
• Two built-in picture sizes optimized for Instagram:- 1:1 and 3:2 ratio.
• The ability to immediately view and share a photo.
WARNING!
The SnapHappy Pro app was written using beta software and because of the vast array of different Android devices and cameras I cannot guarantee it will work on every single device. Therefore I advise you to test the app thoroughly upon downloading it.
