Givelink is an innovative donation platform that is changing the world of philanthropy. Givelink is a donation app that empowers people to "shop" for those in need. We work with 25+ charities in Attica, all approved and evaluated by the Higgs organization based on their transparency, effectiveness and social impact.
How does it work:
- You download the application and create an account.
- You see the cooperating charities, as well as the percentage of completion of their needs. This percentage shows to what extent the needs requested by the organization have been met.
- You choose the organization you wish to support,
discovering their social work.
- You select "Donation" and see exactly the needs of the organization in real time. Then, you either manually add products to the Donation Basket, or you put the amount you want to donate into SmartPick, and our algorithm instantly makes the best possible basket based on the amount and the organization's current needs!
- After you have found the products of the donation and proceed to the completion, you can buy them for the organization with any of the available payment methods you wish. Transactions are made through VivaWallet's secure transaction environment.
- Your contribution is complete! The selected products are sent as an order to the e-shop of the selected super market and you will be informed when they are received by the charity you helped. In addition, directly upon completion, you receive a thank you message from the organization, while staying in touch with them for anything you need.
- You can track the progress of your donation step by step, from registration to delivery, through Donation Tracking.
- The charity will receive your products within 7-20 days of registration. Then, you will receive a relevant notification on your mobile phone, as well as a photo of the receipt from the organization, as proof of your contribution!
- And everything is ready, you just made the world a little better! You can always track your help statistics and impact, from MyImpact.
Givelink is not a civic organization, nor a non-profit organization. We are a for-profit intermediary between charities, people and product suppliers. By combining the operation of a normal company with social impact, we can be sustainable and achieve our vision: to change philanthropy not only in Greece, but all over the world! Our main source of income is a small commission on the sales revenue that the suppliers (supermarkets) of the products have through our app. The platform is completely free for charities, while 100% of your donation goes into products for people who need them.
The team that founded and manages Givelink consists of four 20-year-old students with a common vision: To change the world by combining entrepreneurship with social impact!
