Allah SWT. said, "The good that you get is from Allah, and the bad that befalls you is from yourself."
The verse above Allah mentions in the context of the commandment of jihad and reproaches for those who violate it. Previously Allah said, "O you who believe, you should always be on alert. Go to the battlefield in groups or simultaneously," to the verse that explains the khawf prayer (in a state of war).
Before this verse, Allah spoke about obedience to Allah and His Messenger, about judging Allah and His Messenger, about returning all human disputes to Allah and the Messenger and about reproaching those who judge and returning disputes to other than Allah and the Messenger.
These verses explain the matter of faith in Allah and the Messenger. Therefore, in it Allah says, "By God, they will not believe until they hand over the legal verdict to you in all their disputes, then they do not object to your decision and fully accept it."
