One of the objectives of our Station with the live application is the dissemination of cultural programs, entertainment, news magazines, sports, news and music in different genres, specially selected to reach the place where you are.
Radio Difusoras Potosí was founded on December 25, 1941 and began its broadcasts with the transmission of the Christmas mass from Santa Teresa.
Subsequently, it adopted the name of "La Voz de la Montaña de Plata", at the initiative of the journalist Ennio Rodríguez Solá, who was its fourth Director and owner, and José Enrique Viaña (co-founder of Gesta Bárbara 1918), when he held the function of Press Chief of our Station.
In all the historical, political and social moments that Potosí and the country lived through, it always maintained institutional independence, freedom of expression and of the Press as a principle, within the framework of the Journalist Code of Ethics and the defense of regional and national interests. .
Radio Difusoras Potosí, went through various stages since 1941. Initially under the direction of Prof. Luis Ernesto Ossio; later, Rev. José Zárate Victoria, Armando Gutiérrez Daza, Ennio Rodríguez Solá and currently the journalist and professor of Philosophy and Psychology, Freddy F. Peñaranda Medrano, in Modulated Frequency.
They are more than 70 years of work with some interruptions in their emissions for economic and political reasons, especially in governments of force.
