About this game

Sudoku, a logical number-placement puzzle, originates from the Latin Squares created by Swiss mathematicians in the 18th century. The game was introduced to the United States in the 1970s by magazines under the name "Number Place," and later in 1984, it was repackaged by a Japanese magazine with the name "Sudoku," which led to its global popularity.

Game Rules:
Sudoku is played on a 9x9 grid, divided into nine 3x3 subgrids. At the start of the game, some of the grid squares already have numbers placed inside them, which are integers from 1 to 9. The objective of the player is to use logical reasoning to fill in the remaining empty spaces with numbers 1 to 9, while ensuring the following two conditions are met:

Each row must be filled with the digits 1 to 9, with no repetition.
Each column, as well as each 3x3 subgrid, must also contain the digits 1 to 9 without repetition.
Game Difficulty:
There are various levels of difficulty in Sudoku, typically determined by the number of pre-filled digits. The fewer the pre-filled digits, the fewer clues are given to the player, and the higher the difficulty of the game.

Benefits of Playing Sudoku:
Sudoku is not only a form of entertainment, but it also helps to exercise the player's logical thinking skills, improve the ability to concentrate, and enhance problem-solving skills.

Popularity of Sudoku:
Sudoku is extremely popular worldwide. It is a common crossword puzzle found in newspapers and magazines, and it also comes in various forms such as dedicated Sudoku books, online games, mobile apps, and board games.

The charm of Sudoku lies in its simplicity and challenge, making it suitable for players of all ages. Whether you are looking for a few minutes of quick entertainment or a long-term mental challenge, Sudoku can meet your needs.
