I downloaded this to use with a Jetson Ion scooter that I purchased. Upon opening it, I discovered that it refuses to function at any level without permission to access the photos, media, and files on my device; it throws the cryptic error "Need to open this permission, otherwise it should be the use of software", and then quits. I looked up in the Play store the app's full list of required permissions, and found that it contains a long list of items that an app of this nature has absolutely no business spying on, let alone modifying. It includes device and app history, identity / accounts, contacts, phone calls, USB and phone storage, and Wi-Fi connection information. These are all quite suspect, so I immediately deleted the app.

Terrible app. The application crashes every time you open it if you do not hit the skip button. This is the only way to get past the startup screen to connect any device. Surely the development team for the app can fix this issue considering it's been sitting at a 1.9 rating for months....it's not hard to do. Another complaint, Why have past patches removed the option of 18mph for the bolt? If it's a safety hazard then why not put a disclaimer or instead of locking people out of the option?

When I first downloaded this app over 2yrs ago, it functioned as expected. In the meantime I have noticed a loss of most functionality, and in an attempt to restore it I Uninstaller and reinstalled it. After granting the first two permissions it locked up and opened a screen with a gramatically difficult requirement that seemed to translate to, "grant this permission". When I pressed the okay, it opened a screen to allow system modification, but the ridejetson app is not on that list. That's it.
