About this game

Math skills are important to develop early in life, as they are strong predictors of later academic success. It is important for children as young as preschool age to begin developing strong math skills. We look forward to inculcating and improving these skills among the students of our nation, after all they are the seeds of our future.

Ideation
1.1 In today's world mobile phone activities and games have a much bigger impact on children than anything else. Thus we decided to create a mobile game using kodular.io(an online platform which provides several tools to create a mobile app using block codes for free).
1.2 Reminiscing about our childhood we realized that younger children have problems in mental calculations. So, we decided that our app ‘NumberNinja’ will provide young students a fun way to develop their mathematical skills.

Factor Freak
2.1.1 Factor Freak is a game which is one of the few sections of our app. This game makes strengthening the minds of young children a fun process.
2.1.2 The motive of our game 'Factor Freak' is that the player has to factorize a number being displayed on the screen using the first 6 prime numbers(i.e. 2,3,5,7,11 and 13). These numbers which have to be factorized keep on increasing and the difficulty level goes higher each time.
2.1.3 Using several programming tools such as Lists, Variables, Clock sensor etc. on the kodular website, we managed to completely automate and randomize the numbers being generated. First, the game starts off with the number ‘10’ as Level 1. The player must identify the factors of the said number, that is 2 and 5. Then they must press the respective factors which are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
2.1.4 After the completion of each level, the next number always has more digits than the previous number, therefore increasing the difficulty at each level.
