BW Order is an app from Trancon B.V. and is an integral part of the Boxwise warehouse management software. This app allows users to take orders from both external customers and internal departments, and to accurately record the delivery process.

To use the BW Order app, it must be linked to a Boxwise environment. Once this connection has been successfully completed, data can be exchanged. From Boxwise, customers, items, track & trace statuses and SSCCs are synchronized to the app, making this data immediately available for the order and delivery process.

When registering orders it is possible to scan Kanban codes. By scanning these barcodes, the customer or department, the item and the quantity are immediately registered. It is also possible to scan separate barcodes for the customer and the item and then enter the desired quantity.

To register the delivery process, it is important that each package has a unique SSCC code. This code is scanned, after which a new status can be assigned. These statuses can be set at your discretion and may, for example, require a signature to be placed.

No WiFi range is required to register orders and status changes. A WiFi connection is only required when orders and status changes are synchronized with Boxwise. After synchronization, Boxwise ensures an accurate recording of orders and status changes.
