Have you ever been in the situation where you and your friends would like to play a parlor game but just can't think of one in the moment?
Or perhaps you are a parent, have a ton of play loving kids over (with energy to spare) and would like to propose an idea for to play an outdoor game?
The Let's Play app can help you out. Simply select your venue (indoors or outdoors) and the number of players and you'll get a list of suitable games, with a short description and instructions for each.
Let's Play App characteristics:
- Contains ideas for and descriptions of 150-200 no-tech outdoor games, games for inside, party games, charades ideas, group games for party, team buildings, birthday parties... (number of games depends on phone language setting)
- Contains well known games played around the world as well as traditional games from Slovenia played by folks in times past
- App interface and content currently available in English and Slovenian
- Can be used like a book with ideas for games and play - which it really is: it is adapted from a book in Slovenian (title: Igrajmo se (English: Let's Play), Author: Brane Šalamon, 2021, available in Slovenian only), used with permission from the author

There’s no shortage of reasons why engaging in play is beneficial. Play is exploration, discovery, creativity unleashed. It teaches you to be attentive, to connect with own senses, feelings and intentions. It is a lively and relaxed way to gather experiences and develop skills that will be important later in life.
Play is socializing. Through it we learn how to understand others, deal with own emotions and those of others, how to behave in a social context, how to resolve disputes.
