A simple yet well thought out app gets the job done. Unlike other apps that demands access to your personal data, this one requires nothing. A big thumbs up. Kudo to the author. [Update, the new version now requires access to personal data, I have to take off 2 stars for this].

We are sorry to know that you did not like our updated version. We wanted a way that allowed shopping list to be shared with your contacts and hence we had to seek access to the contact list. We will try to figure out a way where we can remove the demand to access any personal data.
