not working, anything else i have to set on my PC? both win7 and win10 not working, phone detected but no internet access.

I am using Fedora 16, I installed both the rpm and apk file successfully in my phone and laptop. the USB connection established successfully. However when I browsed a web page, the mobile did connect to the 3G network, but it was blocked by the service provider hence only a blank page was returned. I said it was blocked because the result is just the same as when I enabled my phone pre-defined hot-spot feature.
