About this app

MyFamilyMe GEDCOM Converter is a genealogy file conversion tool for working with GEDCOM family tree data.

Open your GEDCOM file, review the detected people and families, and export your genealogy data into useful formats for viewing, analysis or further processing.

GEDCOM support

• Open GEDCOM (.ged and .gedcom) files
• Open ZIP files containing GEDCOM data
• Detect people and family relationships
• View the number of people, families, dates and places
• Review person and family records before export

Export formats

• GEDCOM
• Excel (.xlsx)
• CSV
• JSON
• XML
• HTML

Excel exports contain separate Persons and Families worksheets, helping preserve the structure of the original genealogy data.

CSV and other structured exports use consistent field names so your genealogy information can be used in spreadsheets, databases and other applications.

Designed for genealogy data

The converter understands common GEDCOM information including names, sex, birth and death information, places, parents, spouses, children, marriage information, notes and other supported genealogy fields.

Privacy

GEDCOM processing and conversion are performed on your device. Your family tree data is not uploaded to a conversion server just to create an export.

A demo family tree is available so you can explore the converter before using your own genealogy file.

MyFamilyMe GEDCOM Converter is part of the MyFamilyMe family of genealogy tools.
