ActDroid is the Android version of the popular ActTrader platform by ActTrader Technologies, Inc. ActDroid allows you to trade the same instruments you can on the desktop version, including Forex, CFDs, Futures, and ETFs. Place trades, monitor your account, and even view live charts.

Ratings and reviews

The app needs to be more user friendly, be able to navigate faster between applications, ability to have more than one moving average indicator input onto a chart, needs the ability to have the "crosshair" object to help identify levels and price points better, etc. Lastly I have to re-login too often. I can have just used the app then go and do something in another app, then switch back to this app and and sometimes need to log back in.

Don't let the high average rating fool you. Relative to Metatrader, very few users have installed let alone reviewed this app. The only thing this app is really good for is to quickly check your positions and prices. The app constantly produces "ACTdroid running" notifications so you have to turn notifications off eliminating the possibility of receiving push notifications for order execution or price alerts. You're better of using the web interface than this app when you can't access a PC

I was previously very critical of the app. I still hope for the app not to log out when opening pending orders or at any time that I don't personally log out. That said, I've come to really appreciate the app. It's not saturated with unnecessary tools like MT4 and makes it possible to close partials, etc. It's a nice app. Please keep upgrading. With a few upgrades, I could definitely give this app a 5 star rating.
