AI-Powered Organization
Say goodbye to manual sorting! Our intelligent AI automatically categorizes your screenshots based on their content, giving you an organized library.

Instant Summaries
Let the AI do the work! It analyzes the text within your screenshots and generates concise summaries, helping you quickly recall important information without scrolling through endless images.

Love the app but I have been noticing that whenever it generates summaries for a screenshot it translates the notification bar on top into something and trying to relate everything It sees together into something that does not make sense a lot of time which makes it hard to understand the summarization. I love the app and its interface jusst thag maybe in the summaries it can exclude the top notification bar to get accurate results

I love the concept of it. And the OCR is quite good. What I don't like is the false advertising in "screenshots never leave your device". While that's correct, it's grossly misleading - if you send the OCR content "somewhere" that's not different from sending the screenshot itself. Also, for it to work, I had to give it access to the whole gallery and the app chooses screenshots itself. I really have to trust it that it does only that. All of this can be avoided with the "no summary" switch.

While you're technically correct, uploading images is still more privacy intrusive compared to just OCR as our app can parse nothing apart from the text inside the image. The 'Allow All' permission is something that has to do with file permissions on Android. That is how Google's Pixel Screenshots app does it too on the Pixel 9 series.

As my Pixel 8a doesn't support the official Screenshots app, this is the best alternative! I recommend it to anyone with unsupported Pixels and other devices, too. The picture recognition isn't always accurate, but that's not a deal breaker to me. I'm just happy that I have a dedicated space for my screenshots without having to dig deep in Google Photos for them.

What’s new

PixelShot now automatically detects screenshots saved in both the Screenshots & Screenshot folders. This update is necessary because some devices save screenshots in the Screenshot folder instead of the standard Screenshots folder.
