About this app

Time you can actually see.

Nowly turns minutes into a bright wedge that visibly drains — full-screen, always awake, with a gentle heads-up before the end and a soft landing after it. When the time is up nothing screams: overtime simply grows on the other side in a calm amber, and you stop when you are ready.

Catch a stray thought in about three seconds and get straight back to what you were doing. Walk your morning step by step with Flows — each step its own timer, one big NEXT, and a live "done by 8:52" so you always know where you stand.

Built with ADHD brains in mind, and honest about what it is: a support tool for focus and time awareness, not a treatment or a medical device. Everything is included, and it all works offline.

SEE TIME
• The wedge — a poppy disk of time that drains as your minutes pass
• Bar and plain-digits styles too; tap to switch
• Full-screen ambient mode that keeps the screen awake, because a timer you cannot see is not a visual timer
• Presets in one tap, or any length you like
• Seconds hidden by default — a ticking second is its own kind of pressure
• A soft landing at zero, then overtime in calm amber. No siren, no flashing, no red

CATCH THE THOUGHT
• One tap, one field, gone — your inbox holds it so you do not have to
• Triage later into Today, Later, or Let Go
• Letting something go is a decision you are allowed to make, and it stays there if you want it back

ONE THING NOW
• Pair a task with a timer and the Now card fills the screen
• When it ends: done, a bit more, or switch to the next thing on your Today list

FLOWS — ROUTINES THAT CARRY YOU
• Morning, Wind-down, 15-min Tidy and Work Sprint are ready before you configure anything
• Every step has its own visual timer and one oversized NEXT
• A live "done by" that recalculates honestly, including when a step runs long
• Build your own in three taps per step

LOW-STIM BY DESIGN
• One switch mutes the palette, stills all motion and silences all sound
• Independent dials for colour, motion and sound
• Large type, and every celebration can be switched off one at a time
• Your phone's Reduce Motion setting is honoured too — whichever is quieter wins

GENTLE PROGRESS
• Focus minutes, thoughts caught, flows walked — counts that only go up
• "Days you showed up" instead of a streak, because there is nothing here that can break
• A weekly recap you can share, with no bad news in it

YOURS, AND PRIVATE
• Everything you catch stays on your device
• Your thoughts, tasks and Flow names are never sent anywhere and never shape the ads you see
• Export a backup whenever you want
• Works fully offline. No account

ABOUT ADS
The running timer, the capture sheet, your inbox and the Flow player have no ads and never will. A focus tool that interrupts your focus has refuted itself.

AN HONEST NOTE
Nowly is a support tool for focus and time awareness, designed with ADHD brains in mind. It is not a treatment, not therapy and not a medical device. No app treats ADHD, and we are not going to pretend otherwise — if ADHD is affecting your life, a clinician can help in ways a timer cannot.
