About this game

aPS3e is a native PS3 emulator for Android that can already run many games. However, depending on the performance of your device, most games may not run at full speed.

aPS3e is ported based on the RPCS3 source code of the famous PS3 emulator and optimized for the Android platform. *WARNING* The app is still under active development and may not work with all your favorite games.

There is a free app, which does not contain any ads. We open source and follows the GPLv2 agreement.You can purchase a Premium version if you want to support the development of the emulator.

This download does not contain any games, dump your own real PS3 games and convert them to PKG files or use them.

Stupid ppl leave stupid low * reviews: high end pc's struggle with heavy PS3 emulation, so why do you think a lower performing phone (that usually has no efficient cooling) would do it? This app is essentially a test bed for PS3 emulation on phone. Props to the dev for building it, no easy feat to make PS3 work on phones in whatever way. To the dev: Should you remove the app from Play Store due to bad/toxic users I understand and support it.

On a Galaxy S25 Ultra, it freezes indefinitely at “Configuring trophy data.” There is no way to disable trophies, no PS3 system menu (XMB), and no option to cancel or recover when trophy initialization hangs. Deleting trophy data does not help because the emulator recreates it every launch. This isn’t a performance issue, it’s a core system limitation that isn’t clearly documented. Until trophy handling is fixed or can be disabled, this emulator is extremely frustrating to use

Significant enhancements are still required, though the current state is acceptable. I would also like to inquire if the development team can implement controller-based shaking mechanics for action games, similar to how Mini Ninjas utilizes controller shaking to collect items from trees.
