About this app

iAgro is an innovative mobile app that transforms your smartphone into an agronomic decision-making support tool.

The app uses a 3D photo scan with your smartphone to characterize the canopy geometry of tree crops (grapevines, olive trees, fruit trees, citrus fruits, and tropical crops) and evaluate vigor parameters such as LAI (Leaf Area Index), LWA (Leaf Wall Area), and TRV (Tree Row Volume).
The app also allows you to consult super-local weather data, forecast models for major diseases, perform disease recognition, consult satellite data, soil data, and analyze CO2 absorption.
Finally, the app determines the optimal dose of water and pesticides to apply in the field, based on the type of sprayer and the disease to be prevented or treated.
All collected information is georeferenced and logged to create vegetation variability maps and prescription maps for variable-rate pesticide treatments, which can be exported directly from the app.

- determine the thickness, height, and volume of the canopy of scanned plants
- evaluate the Vegetative vigor (LAI) of scanned plants
