About this app

This application is one of the tools created by the PLURIFOR project to enhance the management of forest risks across Europe.

Silvalert is both a website and a mobile app that enables users to report damages observed in forests. Users with an account can document damages by capturing a geolocated photo and uploading it to the system.

Depending on the type of report submitted, the appropriate forest authorities within the relevant administrative region will be notified and will verify the report's accuracy. Timely collection of this data helps track the progression of forest damages and facilitates swift action when critical issues arise.

This tool was developed by the PLURIFOR consortium. At present, it only supports reporting of damages observed in South-West Europe and the United Kingdom.
