About this app

EquiLogic helps you find subtle lameness and narrow down which part of a horse's limb may be contributing to pain.

Film about thirty seconds of your horse trotting. A few minutes later you get a graded reading on the AAEP 0-5 scale, the limb the movement points to, what the measurement actually saw, and a plain answer to the question you filmed the clip for: what should I do now?

WHAT IT IS FOR

Detect subtle lameness. A horse may look sound at a walk or a normal trot. Consistent, subtle asymmetry is exactly what video measurement is good at picking up.

Help localize a problem. Narrowing down which limb, and which part of it, may be contributing to pain means an examination starts closer to the answer.

Establish a baseline. Regular readings help your vet recognize changes over time, especially in performance horses and older horses.

Catch problems early. Finding a developing orthopedic issue before it becomes severe may allow earlier treatment and potentially prevent worsening.

EVERY READING JOINS A RECORD

One number means little. A series means a lot. Each analysis is compared against the same horse's own history: whether today is better or worse than baseline, how fast things are moving, and whether the current reading is the worst on record. A horse drifting one grade over eight months and a horse losing a grade in nine days are different situations, and the app treats them differently.

BUILT FOR THE VET CONVERSATION

Every report ends in a handoff, not a dead end. Copy a clinical summary with the history attached, share the full report by message or email, or print it. The report also asks, later, what the vet actually found, because the honest answer to "was the reading right?" is what makes the next one better.

WHAT IS FREE

Registering horses, daily check-ins, your full history, and re-reading old reports cost nothing. You pay only for the analysis itself, either one at a time or on a monthly plan.

ONE IMPORTANT POINT

Your lameness score does not automatically mean that anything is majorly wrong. Our results are most useful when interpreted by a veterinarian rather than as a standalone test. EquiLogic is a screening aid, not a diagnosis, and it does not replace a veterinary examination.
