About this app

GolfTracker Live is the golfer's app for charity outings and corporate golf tournaments run on the GolfTracker.ai platform. No account to create and no password to remember: enter the event code from your registration email or the sign at the check-in table, and you're in.

FOR GOLFERS
• Live scoring — enter your group's score hole by hole from your phone. Scramble, best ball, shamble, stableford, stroke play and skins are all supported.
• Live leaderboard — standings update the moment a score is posted, so you know where you stand on the 14th tee, not after the banquet.
• GPS yardage — see your distance to the front, center and back of the green from where you're standing.
• My team & payment — your foursome, your pairing, your tee time and any balance due, in one place.
• Course & yardage — par, yardage and handicap for every hole.
• Sponsors — see who's supporting the event and visit their pages.
• Event alerts — optional notifications for tee-time changes, weather delays and announcements.

FOR ORGANIZERS AND STAFF
Staff sign in with credentials issued by the event host to check players in by scanning their QR pass, view the roster and registration status, register walk-up players, record approved on-site add-on sales, and send announcements to the field.

HOW IT WORKS
Organizers build their event at golftracker.ai — registration, payments, sponsors and the public event site. Golfers use this app on the day. Scores posted in the app appear instantly on the event's public leaderboard and on the clubhouse TV display.

PERMISSIONS, AND WHY
• Location: only while the app is open, to show live yardage to the green. Never in the background.
• Camera: staff only, to scan check-in QR codes.
• Notifications: optional, for event alerts you choose to turn on.

GolfTracker Live does not sell raffle tickets, lottery entries or any other real-money product. Registration payments are made on the event's website, not in the app.
