About this app

EmpowerDriver is the driver app for the EMobility Power project in Nairobi, Kenya. It helps taxi and boda boda drivers track their driving activity and build a profile for electric vehicle loan eligibility.

EMobility Power is a Dutch-Kenyan consortium working to make electric vehicles accessible and affordable for Nairobi's drivers, reducing operating costs and urban pollution.

HOW IT WORKS

Log in with your National ID and phone number
Choose which data you want to share (location, device info, SMS)
The app tracks your trips in the background throughout your workday
View your trip history, distances, and daily summaries
Your driving profile helps assess eligibility for EV financing through our lending partner Platcorp
