Unreliable - App resets and deletes all data Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Inq pen and app. This rebrand from Livescribe has great promise. The design of the pen and notebooks is really nice. The app, however, is twitchy. Without a reliable app, you have nothing but a wildly overpriced pen and notebook. On two occasions now, I have opened the app only to discover that it has reset and wiped away any trace of my notes. Even worse, all the data is gone from the cloud backup, as well.

Disconnects consistently when trying to record strokes with audio. App randomly crashes. company spams you DAILY with advertising to buy (another?) pen. if you give them your student email, they will spam that as well. product records strokes well, but lacks any meaningful way to save as something other than one large file. At least the pen writes well. I would not purchase this product again.

The pen and notebook work well. The pen writes smoothly but the twin loop bindings have not been great. I had one issue with syncing pen data to the app, but the support was timely and helpful, and resolved the problem. The app is pretty good, I hope more app and web features come soon. Specifically, to share pages as a PDF rather than as an image. The transcriptions could be better considering that is the default share setting.
