PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Your notifications stay on your phone. The text of every message, email, and reminder — and any feedback you give Sift — is processed entirely on-device and never sent anywhere. Sift collects anonymous, content-free usage counts to help us improve the app; you can turn this off in Settings and delete your data at any time. We built Sift because we didn't trust any cloud-based "AI inbox" with our notifications, and you shouldn't either.

A: No. Every notification — the text, the sender, the contents — is classified and summarized entirely on your device. Sift never sends notification content to a server.

We record things like "a chat message was sent" or "classification took under 3 seconds"; we never record what the message said or what the notification contained.
