Glint turns the edge of your screen into a notification light.
Your phone lost its LED. Glint brings it back, and does more. Each app, person or word you choose gets its own flat colour line on the edge of the screen, so you know who is waiting before you pick up the phone. Swipe the light inward to read, reply or clear, without leaving what you are doing.
A LIGHT FOR EVERY APP
- Give any app its own light: pick the edge (left, right, top, bottom or around the camera), the colour, the length and the thickness.
- Drag the light along the edge to put it exactly where you want it.
- Two apps on the same spot share it, so every light stays readable.
- Six light styles: Steady, Ripple, Heartbeat, Sweep, Blink and Fade.
LIGHTS FOR PEOPLE AND WORDS
- Give a person their own colour, so Mom on WhatsApp is red and work chat is blue.
- Light up for a word in a notification, such as "OTP" or "delivery".
READ AND REPLY FROM THE EDGE
- Swipe a light inward to open the peek panel over any app, game or video.
- See the sender and message, reply inline where the app allows it, open the app, or clear.
- Hide the message text for chosen apps and show only who wrote.
NEVER MISS A MESSAGE
- Remind me: the light pulses again every few minutes until you read it. Set a different time for a special person.
- Lights stay until you read or clear the message, including notifications that were already waiting. Or turn them off after 15 minutes, 1 hour or 4 hours; the message stays in the peek panel.
- Quiet while watching: pick video apps and Glint holds the lights until you leave them.
- Bedtime hours and Do Not Disturb can hold the lights too.
- Pause everything for one hour from the home screen or the Quick Settings tile.
PHONE STATUS LIGHTS
- Charging light: the bottom edge fills as the battery does, and the charging screen shows the percentage.
- Low battery light at 15 percent.
- Missed call light.
LOCK SCREEN AND SCREEN OFF (Pro)
- A dark lock screen with the clock and who is waiting, every time you wake the phone while messages wait.
- Wake gently when a message arrives, dim and short, so a pocket stays dark.
- Camera ring: the light circles the punch-hole camera.
- If a message leaves the screen dark (Do Not Disturb, bedtime, in a pocket), Home tells you why.
MADE TO BE SIMPLE
- Set up in about a minute: three switches, each with a short reason.
- Real app icons and a clean, light interface.
- Large system text works too: nothing is cut off.
- Works with the animation setting: turn on Remove animations in Android and Glint keeps lights still.

- Display over other apps: so the light can be drawn on the edge of any screen.
- Usage access (optional): only for Quiet while watching, to see which app is in front.
- Battery optimisation off (optional): keeps the lights on time on phones that close background apps.
Crash reports and usage statistics help improve Glint. You can switch them off any time in Settings inside the app.
