About this app

Polar Documents is a fast, privacy‑first wallet for your membership, loyalty, and ID‑style cards. Add new cards in seconds by scanning a barcode or entering numbers manually, then show the barcode at checkout with a single tap. Keep your most‑used cards in favorites for instant access, search across names, issuers, notes, and categories, attach photos or documents, and set reminders for expirations or important dates. An adaptive UI works great on phones and tablets, and everything stays quick even with a large library.

Your data stays on your device by default. Cards, notes, and attachments are stored locally in a secure database, protected by a
4‑digit PIN with optional biometric unlock. The app works offline and requires no account. Limited production telemetry helps improve
stability e.g., crash/error signals and does not include your card contents. Premium unlocks location context to add places and see
where a card is useful; it’s an optional auto‑renewing subscription, and core features remain free.

What’s new

- Added the ability to scan barcodes from images.
- UI now only contains card with no barcodes. Color coded cards can be added and width can be controlled through settings page. You can select single or 2 grid row.
