VEX AIM Sing turns your VEX AIM robot into a playable piano over Wi-Fi.
Connect your phone or tablet to the robot, open the keyboard, and tap notes — each key sends a command to the VEX AIM speaker so you can hear your music in real time.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Power on your VEX AIM robot
2. On the robot, go to Settings → Radio → Access Point to enable access point mode
3. Join the robot’s Wi-Fi network on your device (network name usually starts with "AIM")
4. Open VEX AIM Sing, enter the robot IP if needed, and tap Connect
5. Play notes on the on-screen piano keyboard
FEATURES
• Two-octave piano keyboard designed for landscape play
• Real-time note playback on the VEX AIM speaker
• Wi-Fi connection to the robot access point
• Customizable robot IP address (default: 192.168.4.1)
• Built-in step-by-step connection instructions
• Simple connect / disconnect controls with clear status feedback
BUILT FOR VEX AIM
VEX AIM Sing is made for students, teachers, and robotics enthusiasts who want a fun, hands-on way to explore sound and robot control. It uses the robot’s Wi-Fi access point — no Bluetooth pairing required.
REQUIREMENTS
• VEX AIM robot
• Android device with Wi-Fi
• Robot set to Access Point mode (Settings → Radio → Access Point on the robot)
Note: Your device must stay connected to the robot’s Wi-Fi network while you play. VEX AIM Sing does not control the robot over your home or school Wi-Fi — only through the robot’s access point.
