AUTO CATEGORIZATION
- Screenshots are routed with on-device OCR based rules such as order address style pages, normal page captures, and customer photo style captures.
- Receipt and document detection is prioritized when text density and receipt patterns are strong.
- Camera photos can use embedding similarity against local category prototypes, updated from your manual labels.
- Temporary media can be flagged by age and folder path rules.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
JeriNest is designed for local processing. The app requests photo library read permissions to index and organize your gallery content on device. Similarity, OCR routing, and categorization run locally using on-device libraries. The app does not require Internet permission for core functionality.

PERMISSIONS
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13 and newer) to read photos for gallery browsing and local indexing.
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and older) for the same purpose on older devices.

What’s new

Camera photographs and screenshots now auto-categorize. Gallery now has source and category filters, custom Set Category overrides from long press, and category browsing shortcuts. The gadget now routes receipts and screenshots using OCR and prototype-based camera classification derived from manual labeling. This version enhances indexing, list efficiency, and navigation, as well as fundamental photo flows and settings with bug fixes and refinement.
