About this app

Lipi is a clean, fast, and completely free Bangla keyboard for Android. Built
for everyday Bangladeshi users — students, writers, professionals, and anyone
who wants to type Bangla without hassle, without ads, and without sending a
single word to the cloud.

✦ Three ways to type
• Avro Phonetic — type Bangla using English letters (the way you already think
in Bangla). "ami" becomes "আমি", "bhalo" becomes "ভালো".
• Probhat (Direct Bangla) — fixed Bangla layout for users who already know
Bangla key positions are the same standard used by OpenBangla and Avro Keyboard.
• English — a clean QWERTY when you need it, with prediction.

A built-in dictionary plus a learning user dictionary that quietly remembers the

What’s new

• Pick a word from the suggestion bar and Lipi now remembers it — the same spelling gives you that word automatically from next time.
• Words starting with "w" now also offer the ও reading, so "wi" suggests ওই alongside ওয়ি.
