About this app

PhonoSprout turns phonics practice into a short daily sound trail. Learners notice letter sounds, arrange sound parts to build words, and connect written words with familiar pictures.

Each learner begins with a quick sound check. The app then selects a small mission from its built-in lesson garden, with difficulty bands based on the learner profile and review timing based on past attempts.

PRACTICE IN THREE WAYS

- Sound discovery: explore a letter or sound pattern in four example words, then reveal each word's sound parts.
- Blend it: tap sound tiles in order to build the pictured word and receive immediate answer feedback.
- Find the picture: read a word, choose its matching picture, and learn from a clear correction when needed.

A GENTLE DAILY ROUTINE

Choose a preferred session length and follow a focused mission of three to five activities. The home screen keeps the routine simple, while streaks and milestone badges celebrate continued practice without distracting from learning.

PROGRESS THAT STAYS UNDERSTANDABLE

The progress view shows attempts and mastery for letter sounds, blending, and sound patterns. Review intervals become longer after successful practice and shorter after a difficult attempt, helping earlier material return at useful times.

BUILT FOR FAMILY DEVICES

PhonoSprout works without an account or internet connection. A learner profile stores a display name, age, avatar choice, practice results, streaks, and badges only on the device. Family settings explain this local storage and provide a permanent delete action for the learner profile and its progress.

The app does not contain advertising, purchases, social features, chat, external links, or analytics. It requests no device permissions.
